Covid-Safe Campaigns
The pandemic is not over, and the folks still at significant risk include disabled folks. If you want disabled participation in your organizing or campaigning, you need to make opportunities available to them. This means understanding air quality and flow, encouraging mask-wearing, and making educating people about Covid-19 part of your work.
Trainings and Resources
We offer training on how to make your organizing and campaigning more accessible to disabled folks. Campaign Disability will be tabling at Netroots 2023. We also offer indiviualized training for groups on digital, print, and event accessibility.
Social Media Guide
Our social media guide is available in digital and print. It will provide you with some checklists and information on how to make your social media presence accessible to disabled folks, focusing on three pillars: language, color contrast, and writing alt-text. We then put those items together to show you how to make an accessible social media toolkit.
